hair stoke

what is microblading and microshading?

Microblading and Microshading (also known as Powder Ombré Brows) are types of Permanent Make-up, which make your eyebrows look fuller and more structured for a longer term.

This kind of Make-up holds longer as color pigments are stung into the top layer of the skin with very thin needles. Therefore the Make-up also resists water / face cleaning, as it's not only on the surface of the skin like traditional Make-up.

I work with products from PhiAcademy, which is the recognized brand around the world.

HOW LONG DOES IT STAY ON?

Generally spoken it can be 12-24 months, whereas this can strongly vary depending on the skin type and exposure of the brows.

The more often the skin is exposed to UV-rays or water contact (Eg. swimming), the weaker the color gets.

Same applies with the skin type, the more oily the skin is, the faster the color will fade.

This is also relevant for the decision between Microblading and Powder Brows.

what's the difference between microblading, microshading and hair stroke?

The technique applied, the instrument, the color and the results are all different.

Microblading is cutting hairline strokes, brow by brow, with a specially fine blade with color on it, into the top layer of the skin. The result is a natural looking form of the eyebrows.

Microshading is pixelating the color with a thin needle, which results in an effect that makes the brow look like powdered.

Hair stoke is similar to Microshading with the difference, that lines are pulled in the same directions for an even more natural look.

The recommendation of Titaya Beauty is to do Microblading if your skin is dry and Microshading if your skin is rather oily.

Upon customer request a combination of both is also possible.

what else is important?

There are some points to be considered before, during and after the treatment.

A free of charge appointment to discuss these points is required at Titaya Beauty for a Microblading/Microshading treatment.

It's important to us to know our customers idea, in order to get the best possible result. It's as important to us to explain each step in this process, so the customer understands and agrees to the treatment.
