What is an Eyelash Extension?
Lash Extensions are artificial eyelashes which get glued on top of your own natural lashes. This happens usually on lashes at the eye lid, only on customer request on lashes under the eye and never on the skin.
How long does it stay on?
This can vary from person to person.
If you take care of it, it can last 4-6 weeks.
The loss of Lash Extensions can be corrected by filling-up. Titaya Beauty differentiates between fill-up after 2 resp. 3 weeks, as a different number of lashes fall out in this time. After 4 weeks a new set is required.
How do i take care of it?
Avoid contact with water, humidity or greasy make-up in the first 24h.
Further on, it's not recommended to use mascara, make-up remover with oil or eyelash curler. Also touching the eyelashes or rubbing the eyes by hand is not helpful.
However, it's important after the first 24 hours to regularly clean your eyes for hygienic reasons.
What's the difference between 1D, 2D, 3D or 4D-6D?
It's the number of artificial lashes added to the natural lash. 1D adds one artificial lash on each of your own eyelashes. 2D means 2 pieces are added and 3D consequently means 3 artificial lashes are glued on each of your natural lashes.
4D-6D, also known as Volume, is the extreme emphasis on the eyelash, whereas 1-3D gives more of a natural look.
